Here we have it! Prototype 1 of the Longtze Premier series is being displayed in the arrival hall for domestic flights in Shenzhen airport. It is one of the biggest airports in China with 20 million passengers per year. Longtze Premier was transported by land from Qingdao (2000 km) then installed on September 29th by Thierry Barot.

«I arrived at the airport about 19h30, I was accompanied by 10 Chinese who had come to help me. We carried the boat on our shoulders and entered the hall by the arrival gate. We then installed the boat in the middle of the hall. The people were curious to see me work and asked lots of questions. It is a fantastic location with enormous visability. At this moment, it the the Autumn festival in China and everyone in the country has four days of vacation. We are anticipating holiday trafic of more than 4 million people. We received a wonderful reception from the airport authorities and the organizers of the China Cup, who are very enthousiastic about the teams' projects.»

The boat willl be displayed for the next two months and will remain in the airport the whole duration of the China Cup which will take place on the Shenzhen waters from Oct 19th- 21st of next October. The team will participate in this competition on two other prototypes being tested in Qingdao.
