The two Longtze Premier Prototypes #2 and #3 have participated in the big Hong Kong regatta over the weekend. They raced the 2007 Loro Piana Around The Island Race, a noteworthy race around the Hong Kong island. Lontgze #3 finished third in fleet and in compensated time.

Longtze Premier made the tour around the island in 5 hours 3 minutes, third in real time behind the Shaw 7, “Custard Truck”, skippered by Richard Kiff (T4207, 4h 33’) and the combo team of A. Taylor and J. Isler with their Hick 31 “Ambush” (HKG2080, 4h 55).

They left in their wake, in real, and compensated time,  the Shaw 650 (by a few seconds), the fleet of Magic 25s (the first 7 minutes behind), a Mumm 30 (8 minutes behind) and a Beneteau (25 minutes behind).

Although far enough behind the SB3 in real time (between 15 and 45 minutes)  some were passed in compensated time and even a J80 (15 minutes behind in real time) ! Well done ...
