What a battle ! What tension ! Before the last round of the Longtze European Tour, 6 teams could have taken the event and 3 could have won the series. At the last mark, there were still 2 who could have snatched the Tour victory…So it is by a hair’s breadth but with great panache that team Lufthansa, led by Luc Gellusseau, takes out Kreuzlingen and wins the 2009 European Tour. A rendezvous is set in 2010 for the 2nd edition of this outstanding European tour… |
Zeebrugge Light Vessel Race, September 2009
The sun finally shone on Sunday for the closure of the Light Vessel Race, stage 4 of the Longtze European Tour, but the whole event was carried out in very tough and rainy conditions. The german team led by Eckhard Kaller (Wet Feet) brought home an extremely tight battle ahead of Nicolas Bérenger (Kone Monospace) and Luc Gellusseau (Lufthansa). Overall after 4 events, the Kone Monospace team holds its lead of 2 points ahead of the Wet Feet team. |
Deauville Week, June 2009
Longtze Premier Kone Monospace wins the Deauville International Week and takes the lead in the Longtze European Tour.It was an intense Deauville International Week ! Wind, chop, currents, sun and rain too… with 10, difficult, yet superb races.Nicolas Bérenger (Kone Monospace) and his crew, carried away the regatta, at the end of a very tight fight, notably with the Swiss, led by their "amateur" skipper, Eckhard Kaller on Brokerline 3, who finished 2nd. Nicolas Bérenger finds himself at the top of European Longtze Premier circuit in front of Luc Gellusseau (Lufthansa). |
